This one-off lesson was created for preteen ministry to teach the important truth that We are Shaped by God for Kingdom Work. This teaching includes 3 claymation videos to play at different moments in the message to help the main points sink in.

Through this lesson, students will learn that they are shaped by the people and things that they choose to surround themselves with, for better or for worse. Additionally, they are also being shaped by God for a big purpose, to share His Good News with the world.

Bring 4 students up front to participate in a “random” challenge. One student chooses a random envelope on screen to reveal the secret challenge. (Shh… don’t tell anyone, but they aren’t actually random, which makes it way easier for you to prepare beforehand! Students will only think they are chosen randomly.)

Each challenge has 2 parts. Part one has students “shaping” or creating something. Part 2 will have them do something with their creation. Some of the challenges will have students compete in teams, all together, or everyone for themselves.
