This one-off lesson was created for preteen ministry to teach the important truth that We are Shaped by God for Kingdom Work. This teaching includes 3 claymation videos to play at different moments in the message to help the main points sink in.

Everything you need to host the Where the River Divides experience at your church

“Where the River Divides” is a short film that tells the story of Dennis Okoth, a Kenyan in the 1970s. The film follows Dennis as he returns to his village as a Christian and is faced with choosing to follow in his father’s footsteps to lead his clan or face the ultimate penalty of disgracing his inheritance and his culture.

Themes from the film include:

• YIELD - Yielding your life to Jesus
  
• SURRENDER - Surrendering and trusting His will
• FORGIVE - The journey of forgiveness
• MEND - Mending broken relationships

This experience can be used with an audience to process these themes after viewing. The experience is intended to happen in a different location than where the film is viewed. This could be an outdoor location, or a separate meeting space such as a gymnasium, fellowship hall, or other larger gathering area.
